I've been a fan of Paul Smith and Maximo Park for a long time now, I first saw them live in 2005 at The Old Market in Brighton (which sadly closed in August 2010) so I jumped at the opportunity to photograph Paul Smith's solo performance at the Deaf Institute in Manchester.

Although not to my usual taste in music, I had the opportunity to photograph Pixie Lott performing live on the final night of her Crazy Cats tour at the O2 Apollo in Manchester. I have to say I was impressed with the professionalism of the show.

Sydney based dance punk duo The Presets are Julian Hamilton (vocals and keyboard) and Kim Moyes (drums and more keyboards). Their 2008 album Apocalypso brought commercial and critical success along with a raft of awards.
